The story of JSC Federal Credit Union (JSC FCU) begins in 1961, in the height of Human Space Exploration. It was then, during the “Space Race” that the NASA–Johnson Space Center was established and as a by-product, JSC FCU was born.
JSC FCU is located in the Greater Houston Bay Area about 25 miles south of Houston. The thriving community here supports hundreds of small businesses, a vast aerospace industry and thousands of hardworking and successful citizens who are the backbone of JSC FCU’s membership.
Today, JSC FCU is one of Houston’s largest full-service credit unions with more than $1.6 billion in assets. JSC FCU consistently ranks at the top in Houston Business Journal Book of Lists each year, proving JSC FCU as a local industry leader.
