For more than 35 years, Houston Community College has been the opportunity university for students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Our six regional colleges offer a host of relevant workforce and academic opportunities to take each student to the next level, whether that means an advanced degree or a solid job in a technologically advanced and globally focused work world.
HCC's colleges have nearly 100 campuses and learning centers convenient to the communities we serve. Our Northeast College is home to the renowned Public Safety Institute, which offers more than 100 law enforcement and emergency training courses to students and professionals from around the state. Simulation training in its state-of-the-art shooting range, fire tower and driving facilities offers associate degrees, certificates and continuing education certifications.
HCC is ranked the No. 1 community college in the country for international student enrollment, and estimates show it injects $1 billion a year into the regional economy and adds thousands of dollars of value to each student who enrolls. Its hallmarks of excellence continue to be flexibility, diversity, accessibility and affordability for the more than 55,000 students enrolled each semester. Our 70-plus workforce programs are recognized statewide for their timeliness and industry input. HCC offers continuing adult education, dual credit for high school students and GED and ESL courses on days, nights and weekends.
