Aramco Services Company is the U.S.-based subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest crude oil exporter and a major player in natural gas production and processing, refining and petrochemicals. Established in 1950, Aramco Services operates as a vital link between Saudi Aramco and North America to help facilitate the safe and reliable delivery of energy to customers around the globe.
WHAT WE DO
Aramco Services provides a wide range of support to Saudi Aramco. Core services include areas such as recruiting experienced professionals for careers in Saudi Arabia, procuring and conducting quality inspections on a wide range of products and services, and administering career development programs for Saudi Aramco- sponsored students and employees in North America.
Additional support provided to Saudi Aramco and its affiliates includes engineering services, information technology, marine-vessel services and upstream research. The company also provides support for Saudi Aramco’s project teams operating in North America, manages Saudi Aramco’s exhibit at North American trade shows, and provides benefits administration to retirees worldwide.
Aramco Services also supports its subsidiary companies, such as Saudi Refining, Inc. and Saudi Petroleum International, Inc. Saudi Refining owns a 50 percent interest in Motiva Enterprises, which refines, distributes and markets petroleum products under the Shell brand in the Eastern half of the United States. Saudi Petroleum provides petroleum marketing and logistical services for Saudi Aramco, which supplies more than 10 percent of total crude oil imports into the United States.

Since relocating to Houston in 1974, Aramco Services has actively supported community organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Houstonians. These organizations are helping to advance quality education, safer neighborhoods, cultural arts, improved health care, accessible housing and a cleaner environment. The company also sponsors the Aramco Houston Half Marathon, which enables runners to raise funds for local charities.
