Kenneth Yellowe is a successful and well-known Houston entrepreneur and among the most dynamic businessmen currently operating on the African continent. He has founded several companies over the years and served as a partner in a hydrocarbon trading company in the Republic of Nigeria before relocating to Houston in the early 80’s for studies. In 1987 he joined Credit Systems International Inc (CSI) as a partner and vice president. Yellowe went on to serve as the president and CEO of Best Marketing Inc.

As a philanthropist, Yellowe serves on numerous boards, civic/community organizations, advisory councils and foundations. He is regularly invited by national and international organizations to speak on business and social issues. He has been written about and quoted in several local and international publications such as the Houston Business Journal, Wall Street Journal, Vanguard, ThisDay, US Africa and other publications.

In 1997, Yellowe founded Global Energy Inc. where he currently serves as its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer. Global Energy Inc. is an international oil and gas holding company with subsidiary operations in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria, which is one of the most prolific petroleum producing regions in the world. Today, Global’s Nigerian operations, (Global Gas & Refining Ltd), is the largest and only independent gas processor and LPG producer in Nigeria. Additionally, Global has operations in Venezuela. Currently, Global is in a joint venture agreement with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), through its Abuja Investment Company, for gas distribution throughout the FCT.

Yellowe and his wife, Pamela, have five children. In his spare time, Yellowe assists in children’s sport activities, plays chess and basketball and listens to music.
